Sanford Underground Research Facility

The Sanford Underground Research Facility is hiring for the following positions:

  • Emergency Response Team (ERT) Field Team Member – is responsible for Emergency Medical Response, Rescue/Recovery Operations, Fire Mitigation, Health and Safety Inspections, Fire and Injury Prevention, Hazard Mitigation, Exploration, and other duties as assigned.
  • Contracts Specialist – prepares, monitors, and administers complex contracts, grants, financial assistance agreements, and purchase orders in collaboration with the Department of Energy (DOE), DOE National Laboratories, universities, contractors, vendors and SDSTA staff.
