Like everything else in North Dakota, demand for airline flights booming

In another sign that North Dakota’s economy is booming, airline boardings are up 19 percent in the state – possibly the biggest increase in the nation.

“We’re not aware of any other place in the nation experiencing significant growth in aviation, certainly not at this capacity,” Joshua Simmers, aviation projects manager for the North Dakota Aeronautics Commission, told the Fargo Forum.
